Weekly Update

With Principal Becky Watson

May 17, 2026

Happy Almost Summer!

Only 7 school days left, but these days are filled with important tasks to complete- common final exams, laptop return, and wrapping up any final work and projects. Please make sure your student is prepared and on time.

We said goodbye to seniors this week with senior walkout, Falcon fly-out, and senior sunset. Next stop- GRADUATION!!

We will continue testing this week with two days of modified schedule. Monday and Tuesday we will have modified schedules to finish up our underclassmen CFE's. These are the final days to make-up any tests needed.

Please also remind your student to continue following school rules and the Code of Conduct, including cell phone and headphone rules. These rules and procedures will apply all the way through the end of the year. Thank you for your continued support.

Modified Schedule- 5/18-5/19

A spreadsheet displays school schedules for Friday, May 15, 2026, Monday, May 18, 2026, and Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with periods, modified times, and lengths.

Attention! No backpacks after 5/22/26!

On Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th, the last two days of school, please remind your students they will not need their backpacks. If students bring their backpacks, they must check them in when they arrive and retrieve them at the end of the day. Student laptops will have been collected before the last two days of school, and instruction will continue through a more traditional method with supplies already in the classrooms. Thank you for listening and for your continued support.

Students can carry a small purse or bag for personal items and lunches.

ATTENTION!

Student IDs are required to be displayed while on campus. Please clip your student id to your backpack at all times. If you lost your ID please go to the media center before or after school to get a new one. Replacement IDs are $5. We have had many students now in compliance with this important safety matter. We want to be sure that our students are safe on campus!

Please be advised that seniors are no longer allowed on campus without special permission. Seniors must check in at the front office and can only be on campus for official business.

Please review safety reminders!

Please DO NOT drop students off in the staff parking lot or pull into the mobility spaces to drop students off. There are several suggestions below for avoiding the back-up in the mornings. The mobility spaces are reserved for our students with mobility needs and the reserved spaces are for our Little Falcons parents. Please take the time to safely drop off your student in the drop off lane.

Continued reminders for parents and students about our parking lot:

  • If you need to pick up your student between 7:30 am-2:20 pm, you must park and walk in the front office. Please do not park in the fire lane.
  • Parking near the front office is marked for mobility, reserved- for parents of Little Falcons and pick-up outside of the regular hours. Please park there when coming inside the front office.
  • Please do not line up for afternoon dismissal prior to 1:45 pm. It causes traffic congestion, and we already have enough of that.
  • I recommend dropping your student off early, courtyard doors open at 6:45 to avoid morning traffic.
  • I recommend coming about 2:30 pm if you are picking up in the afternoon if you want to avoid the rush of traffic and buses leaving the property.

Thank you for helping us keep our students and faculty safe by adhering to speed limits of 10 mph and following all traffic cones, barricades, and signs in the parking lot.

SOAR REWARDS- Remind your student to check their points!

Our SOAR store for positive student behaviors has been a big hit! Our students truly are following our SOAR behaviors and we are proud to recognize them. Please consider donating to help us reward our students. Ask you student how many positive SOAR points they have.
