Course Requests

Course Requests for the 2026-2027 school year have been entered for all students, and now it is time for the counselors to start working on these requests. Our Student Services Team spends the whole summer cleaning up request issues and creating student schedules. These schedules will not be available until August, and are subject to change throughout the first quarter of the year.

If your student would like to provide their counselor with alternate elective requests, should their first choices not be available, they can do so using this Google Form. NOTE: This form must be completed by the student using their OCPS Google Account in order to be accepted.

Documents below are intended to guide students and parents on making accurate course requests for the upcoming school year. Each grade level has a presentation that goes subject area by subject area, and a handout that lists the courses available, including electives.

Newly Registering Students

If you are newly registering to East River, and did not complete a course request form previously, you can submit an makeup form here. Please understand, this is only for newly registering students, not students who knew they were coming to East River from one of our feeder middle schools. Please review the information below then complete a New Student Course Request. This is not meant for Freshman who are coming from one of Corner Lake, Wedgefield, Discovery, Timber Springs, or Legacy.
