On January 20^th, all current East River students were met with to discuss our new course request platform, Xello. Students and parents can login to Xello to view the available courses through LaunchPad.

Documents below are intended to guide students and parents on making accurate course requests for the upcoming school year. Each grade level has a presentation that goes subject area by subject area, and a handout that lists the courses available, including electives. As Xello is new, it has a few bugs that are still being worked through. Noteably, there are literally 2000 courses available for students to select that are not accurate offerings. Many of these are online courses, college courses, or technical school courses.

Please be sure to review the documents below before submitting your course requests. Submit your course requests before your individual school counselor meetings through your English class. Tentative dates for these meetings are listed in the presentations for each grade level.

**Rising Freshman Presentations will be coming soon. Middle school students at our feeder schools will have their first meeting regarding Xello in the first week of February, and then meet with their counselors the following week.**
