Weekly Update

With Principal Becky Watson

January 11, 2026

Good afternoon Falcon Families!

I hope this finds you well after a weekend of both productivity and relaxation. The beginning of the new year provides us with a time to re-establish good habits and create new ones such as studying and coming to school on time every day. Parents, your support is essential in helping students stay focused and committed to their academic goals. Consistent effort and determination are key to success, and now is the time for students to give their best. Encourage them to stay organized, complete assignments on time, and remain engaged in their learning. By working hard and maintaining focus, they will build the skills and confidence needed to achieve their full potential. Together, we can ensure they finish the year strong!

ATTENTION!

Student IDs are required to be displayed while on campus. Please clip your student id to your backpack at all times. If you lost your ID please go to the media center before or after school to get a new one. Replacement IDs are $5. We have had many students now in compliance with this important safety matter. We want to be sure that our students are safe on campus!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION- Entrance Update!

As you have noticed, there has been construction at the front entrance to the school to help alleviate some of the traffic congestion. After just a couple more inspections, we will soon have two lanes for cars to enter on campus. The lanes are being marked and the right lane on East River Falcons Way will be for buses to turn right and ALSO for cars to go straight. Stay tuned this week for updates!

Continued reminders for parents and students about our parking lot:

  • If you need to pick up your student between 7:30 am-2:20 pm, you must park and walk in the front office. Please do not park in the fire lane.
  • Parking near the front office is marked for mobility, reserved- for parents of Little Falcons and pick-up outside of the regular hours. Please park there when coming inside the front office.
  • Please do not line up for afternoon dismissal prior to 1:45 pm. It causes traffic congestion, and we already have enough of that.
  • I recommend dropping your student off early, courtyard doors open at 6:45 to avoid morning traffic.
  • I recommend coming about 2:30 pm if you are picking up in the afternoon if you want to avoid the rush of traffic and buses leaving the property.

Thank you for helping us keep our students and faculty safe by adhering to speed limits of 10 mph and following all traffic cones, barricades, and signs in the parking lot.
