Greetings!  

Thank you for choosing East River High School and welcome to the Falcon family! I am blessed to continue to be the proud Principal of such an amazing school and community. Congratulations to the ERHS Falcons on the achievement of a “B” school grade again. This accomplishment is achieved through hard work and dedication to your studies, excellence in teaching from our staff, and the steadfast support of the community.

At East River High School, and I am committed to creating a culture of high achievement and connectedness; preparing our students to live and work in an ever-changing and global society. I will work tirelessly to ensure that every student feels welcomed, accepted, and at home at East River High School.

Falcon Students: I challenge you to get involved. We offer many visual and performing arts programs, a student government association, an innovative and cutting-edge agriculture program, competitive sports programs, and a wide array of clubs and organizations. I also challenge you to push yourself academically, to reach higher and dream bigger, than you have before. We offer a wide range of accelerated course options and choices for our students. Get additional information from your Student Services Counselor and our College and Career Counselor. We also have an extensive list of career classes available through Orange County Technical College, and a College and Career Specialist to assist with choices and options.

Falcon Parents: A strong relationship between parents, teachers, and the school is critical in ensuring that each of our children are successful. I encourage you to remain active and involved in your child's academic life throughout their high school career. Please monitor your child's progress weekly in Skyward and check Canvas. Please reach out to your child's teachers and ask about additional support, resources, and tutoring opportunities. If you have suggestions, ideas, or would like to be more involved at the school, please do not hesitate to reach out to our administration team.

I know that the dedicated team at East River High School is committed to ensuring your Falcon has a pathway to success! Together we can continue to provide a school of excellence, and a school community committed to the overall well-being of each student. Let's SOAR to success! GO FALCONS!
