Falcon Family,
The end of the school year is a time of transition for all students, but a HUGE time of transition for our rising PK, 5th, 8th, and 12th graders in our community.
Traditionally, we have been able to celebrate these transitions with yearly parties, field trips, and various celebrations. The last few years have been different, but didn't stop us. We started a new tradition!
East River would like to continue to embrace the rising of ALL our future falcons, current falcons, and new falcon alumni as they take flight to their next adventure.
We need our community’s help to show support for these students who are making these transitions from one phase of school to the next whether they are entering school for the first time or leaving the realm of high school.
Here is how you can help:
We would like to celebrate our future falcons, current falcons, and new falcon alumni by asking our community to Light It Up Red for our students. This has become an annual tradition that will occur on the last day of school each year. During this event we are asking our entire community to light their home or business RED (inside, outside, front porch, garage lights, driveway lights, or anything that can show Falcon Spirit and be seen from the road).
