Parent Leadership Council


The Parent Leadership Council (PLC) encourages parental involvement in the English Language Learners (ELL program and overall school academic achievement. The purpose of the Parent Leadership Council (PLC) is to encourage parental involvement and community engagement for

English Language Learners and their families to increase student achievement. Some of the topics addressed during the meetings include:

1. Explanation of the ESOL curriculum;

2. Resources available for the students;

3. FCAT, CELLA and other assessments;

4. Community resources…


The PLC meets four times during the school year. Parents of English Language Learners receive the invitations throughout the school year.
